Who We Are

The Lindsay Memorial Foundation is a small, private, not-for-profit charitable foundation created under Federal Charter in 1972, and dedicated to the elderly population.  No funds are solicited. Disbursement funding comes from income earned on investments. AS OF JANUARY 2018, DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS WILL BE MADE ONCE A YEAR ONLY, in November. All Applications must be submitted by SEPTEMBER 15th, in order to be considered for grant funding. Applications for funding are reviewed by a Board of Directors who follows pre-established criteria and policy for disbursement.

Our Mission

To operate exclusively as a charitable organization for the sole purposes of providing funding to organizations/programs that focus on relieving poverty, advancing education, promoting health, lessening isolation and loneliness,  and improving the quality of life of the elderly. To furnish funds for the care, treatment and support of any such persons, to any charitable organization that is a qualified donee as described in subsection 149.1 (1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).

Nursing Professional with extensive experience in Pediatric Healthcare Management and literacy. Strong leadership skills and community volunteer commitment.
SECRETARY – Ann de Pominville
Nursing Educator with experience in Administration and Community Homecare Management
TREASURER – Cheryl Campbell
Chartered Professional Accountant with experience in Public Health and career in management consulting
